Derived from Adam Ihle’s winning submission to Cryptic’s “Design the Next Enterprise” competition, the Enterprise-F would see a long iteration and development process under the guidance of then STO Art Lead Jeremy Mattson and STO Starship Artist Adam Williams. Williams’ work on the Enterprise F would prove a turning point in the design philosophy of Star Trek Online’s starships, embracing a sleek and organic future extrapolated from classic Star Trek ships like the USS Enterprise-E and the USS Voyager. In 2022, Star Trek: Picard Production Designer Dave Blass reached out to the Star Trek Online team about adding the Enterprise F to the show. While it needed a lot of work, Cryptic jumped at the opportunity to finally canonize their flagship on an actual Star Trek television show. And so, the Odyssey-class Enterprise F was totally rebuilt to the highest detail level of any Star Trek Online starship. It received a brand new material and a bespoke set of window visuals as well. The model was done just in time for use in Picard, and now, over a year after work began on it, this remastered version of the Odyssey-class Star Cruiser is available in Star Trek Online. Hey guys, I've edited and uploaded this from our live stream as it seemed quite popular. As it's been downloaded from a live stream it's not the best quality but it does the job. Over a period of about a month, I recorded each bug I found as I played events with the fleet. Some things were listed more than once but eventually, I stopped listing them as they happened so often, e.g. disconnection. So this represents a month of average playtime, I did not purposely set out to find bugs, if I had, over a month, there would be hundreds more to add to the list.
