It is with great pleasure that I announce the second edition of the SRS Olympics. Last year was a lot of fun and we learnt how it could improve from that (thanks for the great suggestions).

The SRS Olympics are a week-long event that happen once a year.
Every day from the 26th to the 30th, some unconventional challenges and less known SRS events will be played.
Objective: to be the best at all of the very unconventional events.
At the end of every event, each person gets a score of 1 to 5 (plus MRP), and at the end of every day, the top three people win a website medal badge for the corresponding place (1st gives gold, 2nd gives silver, 3rd gives bronze, each can only be obtained once per person).

Each day of the event, everyone who takes part in at least one event will receive a daily reward from our stock of prizes, an example of which is listed below. The prizes are drawn at random by Google over Discord.

(note: not the accurate list of prizes, prizes may differ)

(?) - depends on the duration of previous events and time available.
---Description of some of the events:---
Grab & Fly - (improved scavenger hunt) Everyone gets to a hub like esd, new romulus, etc. When the time starts, everyone has to get a determined item or duty officer task and go back to the starting place. The information about the item is only revealed once all the players are there and by riddle.
Race on Risa - the participants gather in one instance of Risa and race around the island with a powerboard through a specific course, that will be shown on a map, for 2 laps. The winners are the firsts to arrive at the end.
To make the course simpler to follow, always go in the middle of the sets of two rocks, and when there is only one, go between it and the island.
Course: from the start straight to the arch, then follow the river and then go in the center of the sets of rocks, pass the finish line and return to the start finishing the circle, behind the bridge and onto the start for the next lap or end.

Note: the map is not accurate rock-wise but gives a general image of the way to go. Tuber game - You all know hide and seek. The tuber game is a slightly different version. For 15 minutes, you are dropped in a medium-size map. Someone starting with 100 tubers. Your objective? To keep the minimum tubers possible. Everyone has to be in constant movement, so no hiding, and people with tubers can open trade windows to give half of their tubers (which cannot be refused and if you see one trade close, which happens due to bugs or the movement, stop and warn the other person so the trade continues). There is a twist, people with tubers can trade with other people with tubers, and hope they get less than they give. At the end of the time, the tubers are counted. Note:, if you have an uneven number of tubers give the +1. Bat'leth Assault - (thanks Jenna) this event is basically sniper assault, but with bat'leths or other melee weapons. It is experimental and may be replaced or modified if seen necessary.
Parkour run - it was voted in November in the exploration event. It requires jumping abilities and cats are welcome on this one. In this event, the CFOPS will go into a hiding place that requires parkour to reach, and everyone that gets to him in 15 minutes gets a certain amount of MRP. (Points per order of arrival.)
Tour the galaxy - this was voted on the exploration update. As a team, your objective is to do as many systems as possible in the tour the galaxy event.
Sphere race - in sphere allied zone follow a course and reach the end as fast as possible. Course:

Indications for the events will be given before each is played along with any modifications that are needed by then.

That's all for today, good luck!
