Changes to MRP Awards 2021 & CFOPS

At the start of the year I made the decision to exclude CFOPS officers from the grand prizes for MRP this year. This was done in an attempt to encourage those who don't have as much time to play to realise that they too could win a massive prize at the end of the year. However, all this has actually done is put off the people who play the most, these are the CFOPS officers. An alternative prize was offered for the CFOPS instead which was supposed to be a level of compensation for missing out on the main prize, this would have been a choice of any ship.

I have now rethought this award strategy and it has been changed and updated as follows:

CFOPS are now eligible to receive the main prizes for the MRP year.

The grand prize has increased from 2 billion to 3 billion MRP. All other prizes have been increased by 50%!

CFOPS are still not eligible for interim prizes such as the free T6 ship coupons.

A new tier of prizes for competing in the Space DPS league are now available. Below is a summary of all prizes and a link to our page for the 2021 prize list.

MRP LEADERBOARD 1st Prize - 3,000,000,000 EC 2nd Prize - 1,500,000,000 EC 3rd Prize - 750,000,000 EC 4th Prize - 375,000,000 EC 5th Prize - 150,000,000 EC 6th Prize - 75,000,000 EC 7th Prize - 35,000,000 EC 8th Prize - 15,000,000 EC 9th - 20th Prize - 1 Master Key 21st to 30th Prize - Duty Officer Packs CFOPS The prizes above are open to all players including CFOPS officers CFOPS will also earn approx 500K EC per event they run. SPACE DPS LEAGUE The following prizes will be awarded to the top 3 places in the Space DPS League at the time of the draw. This is open to all players including CFOPS and the C in C 1st Place 500,000,000 EC 2nd Place 250,000,000 3rd Place 125,000,000 INTERIM There will be at least 4 interim prizes based not on MRP score but on attendance in MRP events, each prize is a T6 Ship from the C Store, or some other T6 ship, perhaps from the lobi store or from a lockbox (CFOPS are excluded from interim prizes)
