Escort Week on MRP

This week the focus is on escorts, which is any ship with an experimental weapon.
There are boosts to your MRP for DPS and Max Hit.
Further small boosts for being a Tactical Captain.
A boost for the fleet of the week which is SRS Chrononauts.
Sniper Assault - Map 2
This was a big success and everyone enjoyed the game. 30 minutes went really fast.
So there is now another map for Sniper Assault, it's called Assimilate This, and is based at the canal of death on the Defera Invasion Zone, we will be running this map today sometime at least once.
Remember: During Sniper Assault, anything you use that can kill enemies and is not a Sniper shot will not count and all you do is remove targets for you and the team, so don't use combat pets, security teams, AoE etc, you are just gimping your own score.

10th Anniversary of SRS
This is fast approaching and there will be more news of events in the week preceding it, for now, read the blog and see how you could win an amazing prize. There will be a ton of giveaways during this event so make sure you bookmark the time for STO.
To all new members
Welcome, all of you. A couple of points to note which may be different to other fleets you are in.
When you come to some events with us you may find that some people are pulling 10 times your DPS. It doesn't matter, we are not judging you but we would really like to help you improve your builds. Everyone who takes part in SRS events always improves, I've seen people go from literally 1000 DPS or lower to over 200K DPS in less than a month. A good start is to look at the builds database on the site and see how the top ships are made. Then don't be afraid to ask for advice in the chat or on Discord. The latter is the best as we can walk you through your build as you share your screen with us.
Also, we have a pretty generous policy on the bank items, generally, the rule is, if you can take it you can have it, so if you see something you like in a fleet bank just withdraw it, that's what it's there for. Same for fleet provisions, if we have provisions in your fleet and you need something from fleet stores just go and get it. All we ask is that you contribute a few fleet marks, dilithium, DOFFs etc to any of the fleet holdings from time to time, this is not checked, we don't monitor what you do, it's more of an honesty box kind of thing.
