This post has the objective of helping CFOPs understand how to run the new Hide and Seek event.

While this event might seem easy to run, it is not. So here is how to do it:

When posting the message, don't invite the people to your team, the accepts are merely used for you to know what map to select and the names for the scores. There can be a second seeker if 10 or more people are playing and you think it is needed.

You are free to select the map, the only requirement is for you to pay attention on its size, for example, if five people (including you) or less, go for a small map like bajor, if 10 people are participating (including you) go for a big map such as Andoria or New Romulus.

While you are free to play as you wish, either as a seeker or hider, you need to pay extra attention to checking if anyone is cheating.

When time is up, or when all hiders are found, you calculate the positions the following way:

If there are still hiders:

The CFOP invites the remaining hiders and the seeker to a team, the winner is the closest hider to the seeker, the other remaining hiders get 2 million MRP.

If there are no hiders left:

The last hider to be found wins the 5 million as well as the seeker. The hiders that helped seeking after being found get 2 million MRP, the ones that didn't get 1 million MRP.
