Ranking change in SRS and Patch notes

Rank changes

The ranks of ensign, Lt Junior Grade, Lt, LtCmd have all been scrapped. The lowest possible rank now is Commander. This is to match what is available in the game.

The list of ranks is as follows

Commander

Captain

1 Star Admiral

2 Star Admiral

3 Star Admiral

4 Star Admiral

5 Star Admiral

5 Star Admiral is FADM or Fleet Admiral, unless you are actually the head of a fleet your rank will only show as 4 Star Admiral.

Note, non-SRS fleets may have different rank names, this will show up as a ? on your personnel files. It is suggested that all fleets in the SRS Armada follow the convention above.

Patch Notes:

Personnel Files:

* Rank names have been updated

* Rank insignia has been updated

* Your list of officers now shows the following:

** Name, Level, Check box to flag up if the rank is incorrect, Actual fleet rank of that character, Fleet and build.

* If your earned rank within SRS does not match your ingame rank then a ? will appear next to that character. This will make it easy to know which characters need promotion or demotion. This will not be done for you, you will need to request the promotion.

Other changes

The position of Chief of Staff, Commander in Chief and similar has been dropped within the personnel files but is still used as an honourary or administrative title within the organisation and is listed on the website.

The website is also being updated with the changes.
