MRP 4 Update this weekend
MRP 4 is being introduced this weekend which means that the MRP system will be down from Saturday to Sunday, we will still run events but they will not be counted in the leaderboard. It is possible the work may be finished earlier in which case all will be resumed.
What does MRP 4 mean for me?
See the changelog for a full list of differences, but the main change you will notice is that you will be better rewarded for how well you do in a particular area, whether that be DPS, Threat, Healing, Damage taken, Max Hit, etc. You will also have a significant advantage if you have all the merit packs and consoles. There are no upper or lower caps on what you can earn. A ship or ground build that can do high DPS whilst taking threat and throwing out heals would be a very rich MRP build, but beware, this kind of build will make you susceptible to deaths.
What do deaths mean for my score?
Your base score is halved each time you die, so dying is not recommended. However in MRP 4, everyone has one free death, long term players with more than 300 missions under their belt get another free death and if you have the death pack you have yet another death allowance giving a possible 3 deaths with no impact on your score.
How can I get these packs and consoles?
As you play events you earn one merit per event (1.2 if you have the merit pack). You can order the packs and consoles when you have accumulated enough merits, or you can just buy merits in bulk using real cash from our merit store page. Purchases help to support the fleet operations. SRS costs well over £200 ($274) a year to run without including prizes, so every purchase offsets these costs.
MRP 4.X As with all new systems, there are bound to be some changes needed although hopefully these have been minimised as much as possible as MRP 4 has been tested on every event for the last week and internally tweaked to give the desired results.

Interim Prize
Congratulations to Jade who once again wins our interim prize of 100 million EC for being the first person to reach 150 missions run. This will reset on Sunday 29th August for the next interim prize, if you want to stand a chance of winning just take part in as many missions as possible.
Borg Intervention Week
This was very enjoyable and played by a lot of people. We will be running this event again before Christmas.
Liberation - The Borg Event
Liberation, our online game, competition and the week-long event will be commencing in the next couple of weeks, look out for the blog on this event, how to enter the competition and how to win a massive prize for the week-long event. Discord Etiquette
Please be aware when people are talking on Discord not to interrupt them, this is extremely rude behaviour and won't be tolerated. If someone is talking, let them finish before you chime in. Also, be aware of how much you are talking, other people like to contribute to the conversation as well, try to keep your comments short and to the point, most people are not interested in massive long diatribes. A reminder once again to avoid politics or religion and keep the sexual innuendo for the pub with your mates, we have ladies on Discord now and not all of them are appreciative of smutty jokes.
Welcome to all the new members
We have had many new members recently, welcome to SRS. We understand that our systems are very different to what you may have been used to in the past, we are a very organised and busy fleet and your best course of action is to have a good look through the website, starting with the MRP main page to see how we run our events. Discord is highly recommended for asking questions and gaining help with builds.
Check out our builds database which covers all space builds and many ground builds using Best in slot gear. Don't worry if you don't have BIS equipment yet, there are always alternatives that can be slotted to realise similar results and in time you will find your build increasing in strength, damage output and resilience. Always ask questions, there are no dumb questions, if you are wondering something you can be sure someone else is too. And remember, the more you take part the more you will be rewarded.
