Update to Elite Fleets

Updated: Jun 7, 2022

Hi all

I've made some changes to the Elite fleets, these are:

-SRS- MACO Spec Ops

-SRS- Section 47

-SRS- Zhat Vash

Change in ranks

In order to gain entry to any of these fleets, you must satisfy the requirements for average DPS, number of events played and now you must also have the SRS Armada rank of Rear Admiral Lower Half.

These requirements are as follows:

-SRS- MACO Spec Ops & -SRS- Zhat Vash

150,000 DPS average

25 MRP events completed

Rear Admiral 1 Star (Lower Half)

-SRS- Section 47

250,000 DPS Average

50 MRP events completed

Rear Admiral 1 Star (Lower Half)

Ranks:

The ranks within all the elite fleets are as follows:

Rank 1 - AWOL (Absent without leave) - Any member will be entered into this rank which has no withdrawal rights if they have not been online for 3 months or more. A member may be removed at any time at the Fleet Admiral's discretion when in this rank.

Rank 2 - Reserved - This rank is currently not used

Rank 3 - Rear Admiral 1 Star

Rank 4 - Rear Admiral 2 Star

Rank 5 - Vice Admiral

Rank 6 - Admiral

Rank 7 - Admiral of the Fleet

Updated Rewards:

-SRS- MACO Spec Ops & -SRS- Zhat Vash

There are two new tabs, Space Traits and Ground Traits. These tabs will be well-stocked and have some of the best traits available. However, due to the huge cost of traits in the exchange nowadays all ranks will only be allowed to withdraw 1 trait from each tab per opening day. The traits tabs are open on Saturday and Sunday only, from Monday to Friday these tabs will be closed, all other tabs are left open all the time. Note: These traits are for personal use and should not be sold on the exchange. Anyone caught selling on the exchange will be removed from the fleet.

-SRS- Section 47

The same as the above fleets with the following addition:

In addition, Section 47 members may now withdraw 500,000 EC on Saturdays and the same on Sundays, then Monday to Friday the cash withdrawals are closed.

Joining an elite fleet

If you qualify for one of the elite fleets you will receive an email like this: Having duly qualified you are hereby cordially invited to join -SRS- MACO Spec Ops, the next steps of the elite within the Federation. If you would like to join this fleet please move over your highest DPS character at your discretion, simply leave the fleet that character is in then ask for your invite to -SRS- MACO Spec Ops.

The Section 47 email is similar.

If you receive this email make no mistake, you are judged to be a suitable candidate for the fleet you have been invited to. You do not have to join, it is not compulsory, but we would welcome you if you do join. It is normal to have misgivings regarding joining an elite fleet, wondering if you can cut it with some of the best players in STO, however, if we didn't think you could cut it then you wouldn't have had the invitation in the first place. So abandon your misgivings and accept the glory!
